An OPC DA Server has the following properties:

Browsing Hierarchy |
The field allows you to select the type of hierarchy to use for OPC item browsing. The options are:
Selecting Flat will present tags at a single level represented by their tag names. Selecting Hierarchy presents the tags in a directory structure that represents the clusters and equipment definitions that are used. No selection is the default, which is the equivalent of selecting Flat. For more information, see OPC Item Browsing. |
Field |
Selecting True will expose the Field tag extension as an OPC DA vendor-specific property of the OPC item. No selection is the default, which is the equivalent of selecting False. |
Valid |
Selecting True will expose the last valid value for the Valid tag extension as an OPC DA vendor-specific property of the OPC item. No selection is the default, which is the equivalent of selecting False. |
OverrideMode |
Selecting True will expose the OverrideMode tag extension as an OPC DA vendor-specific property of the OPC item. No selection is the default, which is the equivalent of selecting False. |
ControlMode |
Selecting True will expose the ControlMode tag extension as an OPC DA vendor-specific property of the OPC item. No selection is the default, which is the equivalent of selecting False. |
Status |
Selecting True will expose the Status tag extension as an OPC DA vendor-specific property of the OPC item. No selection is the default, which is the equivalent of selecting False. |
Override |
Selecting True will expose the Override tag extension as an OPC DA vendor-specific property of the OPC item. No selection is the default, which is the equivalent of selecting False. |
