Update a Web Client Deployment to Reflect Project Changes

If you change a source Citect SCADA project, you need to update its associated web client deployment to publish these changes on the Web Server.

Updating a web client deployment uploads the latest project pages and components to the Web Server for distribution. This is important as discrepancies might occur between the project pages and the data being pulled from the runtime servers if the content is not up to date.

1. Verify that the project you want to update has been compiled and processed within the Citect SCADA by the Web Deployment Preparation tool. See Run the Web Deployment Preparation Tool.
2. Select the deployment you want to update.
3. Click the Edit Deployment icon.



This takes you to the Deployment Configuration page.

4. Click Apply Changes.

The Web Server retrieves a fresh set of pages and components for the Citect SCADA project, which will include any recent changes.
